Utilisync is a B2B product, and the main pain point was that new clients were hard to convert because of the almost two-decades-old UI. Our goal was to modernize the aesthetic while identifying areas of improvement through a series of user and stakeholder interviews. The challenging part was that there wouldn’t be any bandwidth for back-end improvements, so we would have to work with what was available.
The biggest insight gathered from the interviews and the discovery sessions with the stakeholders was customization.
The users wanted to be able to create a custom dashboard better suited to their needs and be able to generate custom reports, so they could have a quick and easy overview.
